Le Verger du Pierroy offers a warm welcome with 2 comfortable rooms in the heart of the Anlier Forest.
The view from the Pomme Cerise room and from the terrace invites guests to immerse themselves in nature. The Nature Park of the Anlier Forest is synonymous with slow tourism.
Before or after a walk or excursion, regional delicacies are available in all shapes and sizes at breakfast or at the table d'hôtes.
Local, organic and fair are the core values of responsible tourism. The choice of producers reflects Le Verger’s commitment to the local economy, right down to the care and hygiene products in the shower rooms.
The water is filtered into beautiful glass drinking bottles. Information boards invite guests to use electricity (100% green) and water sparingly (with water-saving showers setting a good example), and to separate their waste.
The square-metre gardens, the traditional orchard with old varieties, the swallow nest boxes, the insect hotels and the mixed hedges delight nature lovers. Birds of prey can be observed particularly well here, especially the red kite.
The emphasis is on soft mobility: information about train and bus timetables is available to reach the accommodation on weekdays. Hiking maps for waymarked routes are provided. The focus also includes the rental of electric bikes, for example from Marbehan station or the Léglise tourist office.
Horses and donkeys are welcome in the stables and in the meadow, with the possibility of a guide for riders and a 12 km donkey walk (from the village of Léglise to Le Verger du Pierroy).
The social economy comes to life through close cooperation between the accommodations and the producers.
